It's recommend to write on paper with 80gsm above, otherwise slight strike through will happen. Put the pen tip up and shake it about 5 times before use, then press the pen tip to release the air.

If you paint on dark / black paper, it will only show silver color. If you paint on a smooth surface like stone or ceramic, it only shows the bright color.
